I live in Phoenix Arizona and I am looking to play Barbarossa to get to know the game better. I log onto Private WiF NetPlay Forum but all I get is unable to connect to server. I would need help learning how to setup a net game. I would like to play Saturday April 26th starting around 8am PST.

When you registered your game there should have been a username and password you created. Go to your World in Flames folder (which should be in your Matrix Games folder) and look for a text file named NetPlayReg.txt. Open it with notepad and you should see the:

username
password
email address
geographic location

that you entered.

If you previously played a different Matrix/Slitherine game using the server, then you might already have a username/password that you might have forgotten.

If you have an old username/password from a previous game, you have to use that one, and can edit your NetPlayReg.txt file accordingly. If you've forgotten it, then you'll need to contact the Matrix Help Desk. If you don't have a NetPlayReg.txt file, then perhaps you haven't registered the game yet.

Once you do get into the NetPlay server and want to start a game, it is critically important that the two player names you specify when starting a game match exactly (including case) the two player's usernames for the server.

There may be a problem with the Netplay server. I'm getting something similar.

how do you get to the netplay server. I can not even figure that out

Or if you start a new game and select NetPlay mode, you will be taken there.
