How do I purchase corps/fleets for a major power in the economic phase?

Oddly enough it works easily enough for minors - I just click on the counter pays one Money and it turns green but no luck buying corps/fleets for my major power. It turns red- what am I missing? I have plenty of money

EDIT: Never mind - I was out of cash to pay for them

Good to hear. Are you a new player? Just curious if you have reviewed the Murat tutorial and updated game manual, and what else might be helpful getting you and other new players up to speed. There is a lot to learn along the way.

New and new – I played the board game back in my university days and I played the computer version briefly back in 2007 but back then the AI was to poor and multiplayer to cumbersome.

I did read them and they were a big help.

New weird issue – does a sieging corps automatically attempt roll for sige/assult? I can’t seem to manually order sieging rolls unless I have a regular land combat scheduled. If I press end turn after foraging the turn simply ends.
