I will be installing the new game tonight but was wondering if there is any particular order to uninstall the older version I have? Do I start with the latest expansion or can I do it all at once? Doe sit even matter?

Please note that if you want to keep the previous releases installed (for mod or saved game reasons) you certainly can. Universe installs in its own separate folder by default.

If you are uninstalling, there should be one uninstaller to run to clean out most of the files and any system settins, then just delete the installation folder to get rid of any leftover files. Make sure you don't want to back up any mods or saved games before you do this!

Question. I downloaded universe and assume it is an expansion and not a stand-alone package. There is no reason for me to keep the old installers if I have the universe installer as it already has everything?

Correct - get some mods and ENJOY your 3 day weekend!

Just like what Erik said, if you have a game processing in shadow or older version and you still want it to continue and be finished, then keep it.
