Influence colour intensity randomly changes

With the Empire Influence option turned on, at times the intensity will randomly change for a minute or so (gets more solid) then will change back

Colour bright

Must be nice, I'm not even getting an Empire Influence Overlay.

By default it seems to be off. tho you can click the button (right on the top minimap bar) to show them)
