Japanese Minelayers

Just started a Campaign 41 PBEM game and this time I am playing the Japanese...I have some Hirashima CD Minelaying ships in port and was wondering if they can be tasked to lay minefields and if so how....Thanx for any responses

No, no minefields. They are there primarily because the Harishima class was originally minesweepers, but used for convoy escorts. The 120 or so mines on board are merely for show (as that is the amount they had on board).

Thanx for the fast reply...too bad it would have been cool to lay some minefields
