I am playing the Ancient Galaxy storyline.

This is a video of a planet destroying 2 planet destroyers. Not the other way around. I've never seen that happen before.

Video is a bit laggy even though I'm using 2 Radeon 7950's crossfired with 3 gigs each. Recorded using Fraps which says I'm getting 55-60fps. Anyways here's the vid.

2 World Destroyers not enough

If a planet is defended well enough, its stations firepower (weapons & fighters) can
(and in your case did) overwhelm the defensive shields and armor of the Planet Destroyers
before they could charge and fire their Death Rays.

I like how that planet destroyer showed up and it was like it kicked a bees nest when all of those fighters swarmed it. It was almost as if I could hear the pilots of the first planet destroyer saying "Holy S**t!" as they turned around trying to escape! LOL [:D]

That is one of the most awesome DW vids ever!

(Although you should say that planetary defenses killed the PD's, that planet had a lot of firepower protecting it!)

Must've been a Soviet Russian planet.

In Soviet Russia, planet destroys you.

Maybe it took railgun damage and decided to bail due to its design setting? (Run away if module damage or whatever its called)

What makes me think this is the case is the fact it starts aligning out after taking the first volley.

In any case, those planetary defenses are not to be trifled with [X(]

I have attached a mix of ships to the planet destroyers and have still lost them. Need a LARGE protection force....GP
