Explorers not exploring?

Anyone seen this with Universe (last patch)? My explorers are not exploring other systems, after retrofitting to warps...
bug?

Do you only have the first warp engine, and if so, do they actually have range to get anywhere?

Yes, plenty of range. Automated, they just move inside the home system. Before last patch, they were working fine.

The only time I've noticed this, with the last patch, is when my explorers haven't had enough fuel to reach the closest unexplored system and back again. So their exploration range is, at most, half the rated range.
If you're certain their range is over twice that of the closest unexplored system, I'd upload a save for them to take a look.
