Why can not change display of the graphics card

Why can not I change in the game the display of the graphics card (GeForce GTX780)?
I will go to 1680x1050 (Wide) but the game jump always back to 1600x900 (Wide)!

I'm not sure I can answer. My monitor doesn't have resolutions that high that I can try. Maybe Mobius has a setup that goes that high and can try it.

I have a GeForce 7900 GS with the Nvidia control set to 1680 x 1050 (native) driver version 307.83 and Direct X 9.0c.
In the configuration menu it is set to 1680 x 1050 (wide) bit depth 32, texture quality high, antialiasing 2, anisotropic filter 4, level of detail quality high.
