GxEMP Crash Screenshot

Because of some absurd rule in place regarding not being able to post hyperlinks, here is the best I could do to reference the crash I'm receiving

I would suggest that when you have the popup error you can Ctrl+C then paste into notepad or the forum post.
or
go to C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Code Force Limited\Distant Worlds\<version>\DW_CrashDump.txt and copy the contents to the post.

It's worth noting that in a completely new game, I experienced another crash at this specific special event. Apparently the scorpions in the warp zone = crash on my system

You can get around this crash if you do not zoom into the affected area.
Send a fleet there and wait for it to kill all the Scorpions (Kalthors?) you must not look or it crashes! When you think fight might be over, save the game, pause it and check / zoom. Worked for me.

This happenes only when you zoom in? thsi tiem I zoomed in and bam - ctd.
But ... all the games I played so far I get very simillar error once my civ get really rolling. and of course my autosave was always set to 30 min...
