I have formatted some of his art for an alternative look to the pirate factions in game. You can merge this with pretty much any mod out there, including Extended. This will work fine with any of your save files also.

Yeah these are sweet I checked out his and then ones like it on deviant art once you posted this. It'd be so nice if we could get someone to that good to make ships for universe, the current ones aren't that great even with any and all ship mods currently out there. It'd be nice to have 10 or so new ones and a ship that actually looks like it could be a construction ship.
