Hi guys! Does anybody fit their Phaser Cannons into their ships? I personally like them only for their name(as a trekkie anything that it's defined phaser comes really interesting to me). Actually i guess they're the half way between the assault blaster and phaser lance, but they're kind of ineffective against ships, especially because of their short range(compared to the Tier 3 impact blaster). Tell me your opinions! [:)]

You might want to check out my balance mod, phaser range has been buffed, impact blasters nerfed, titan beams removed. For end game tech diversity.

(I also use the orange truebeam graphics for the phasers, from the weapon compilation mod tm.asp?m=3098682)

I must admit that you did quite a job!! I was searching for something like this. I always found that beams weapons in the game were actually too few. I'll try that out immediatly. Thank you very much!

I m currently testing if the star trek mod is compatible .

The phaser cannon in star trek is a pulse weapon. http://memory-beta.wikia.com/wiki/Phaser_cannon it is for this reason i use a bolt image for it instead of a trubeam from the same graphics mod mentioned above. I use the trubeam for the lance though.

Is it Star trek universe 1.3.3 compatible?

Unforeseen did you replace the beam image with the bolt one for the phaser cannon? Well i guess that phase lances should actually be a continuos beam, as long as they're called phaser lances [:D] I'm going to replace pulse wave laser image too, with a continuos orange beam. In the Star Trek mod it's usable by the Cardassians and as far as i remember Cardies did use an orange stream beam...

Yeah i'm using the bolt images. The small beams are ok too and probably more to the star trek theme. I just prefer the bolt images.
