Hello all,

The latest update for SPM is now available! Please download it directly from the Matrix FTP at ftp://beta.matrixgames.com . When prompted, please specify the following credentials:

username: SPMBetaTester
password: SpmBeta1114

I strongly recommend you to download the file using filezilla.

Inside the FTP you will find an installer file named SPM-Windows-Slitherine-0-7-19-2.exe, just download it and run it in order to overwrite the contents of your current installation folder. Please, do not download SPM-Windows-Slitherine-0-7-19-1.exe as the file is corrupted.

This update includes lots of bugfixes, balancing, UI improvements and brand new content. Nearly all the placeholder images in the UI have been replaced and we're including the animations for most of the missions from the PKA, Vostok and Voskhod programs. We're planning to release another patch very soon featuring the animations for the remaining programs. Make sure you check the full changelog here to get a complete overview of this release.

Notice that the savefiles from 0.7.18 are no longer valid for 0.7.19.2 because of all the new information that is now required to run the game, so you will need to start a new game from scratch.

I've just tested it and it works OK on this end. Maybe you accidentally introduced the '.' character when copying and pasting the password field?

Still not working for me. Per what it said in the original note, this is what I'm trying:

Username: SPMBetaTester/SpmBeta1114
Password: SPMBetaTester/SpmBeta1114

EDIT: Oh, now I see, it's susposed to be separated. I didn't realize that. Oops!

Thanks for the quick response and sorry for looking stupid. Looking forward to playing this new update! I had to give up a earlier Let's Play cause the game locked up, so maybe I'll try again with this one (new game, of course).

Installed now, working fine.

Hello Chlivus,

The CRC error pop-up when the original installation files didn't get overwritten. Make sure that the files that were installed by the latest patch actually overwrote your existing installation files. That is, your old SPM-Windows.exe has to be replaced by one with today's date.

Sadly SPM-Windows.exe has today's date [:(] I try redownload 0.7.19.1 again...

Get the same issue overhere. Have tried to apply the latest 0.7.19.1 version right away on the 0.7.18 skipping the 0.7.19. I made several attempt without success as it has always ended with the CRC error at SPM launch.
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, apologies. I made a mistake in 0.7.19.1. I'll begin uploading a replacement in a few minutes. I'll let you know once it's up. In the meantime, please uninstall the game and install it again. Then wait until the new 0.7.19.2 is up and install it on top.

So what is the correct reinstallation procedure?
My initial SPM download link expired long time ago...Do I need to get in touch with the support for a new link? or I just need to install 0.7.18 and then apply the latest 0.7.19.2 version?
I am a little bit confused.

For those who have the same question: reinstall the whole game, then download 0.7.19.2 (which is being uploaded now) and apply it on top. I'll post a message once 0.7.19.2 is up.
