A new scenario set in Central Asia in 1998. With very limited assets, especially in the area of reconnaissance, strike at the newly proclaimed Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

Edit: Revised version posted. Scoring has been changed, a new event added, and indicators to help find the enemy have been placed.

I managed an average score for the first outing. Its a very quick scenario and I didn't find the vehicles at all. I suspect the biggest problem there is limited range so you don't search a massive area.
All working as far as I could see.

Did you play the latest version? I put in RPs to help find the vehicles and moved them closer so that you have a little more time to search, as I had problems finding them myself (and I'm the scenario designer). They're still meant to be very hard to find.

Just gave this one a try. I enjoy these smaller scenarios because they provide an opportunity to study a few platforms and weapons systems and try to accomplish the mission with you have without taking hours or days. I took out 3 IEA Fitters early on but could not find the vehicles. Searching at low altitude cost me a couple of aircraft since I managed to draw fire. Could not find the units who fired. As time wound down I decided to hit the command post with rockets to get a little bit of revenge. Will have to re-think my tactics and try again.
