I used to play CC1 a century ago. Got CC:LSA about a year ago. Looking into Gateway to Caen. but i don't see anyone playing online for LSA or Gateway. looked in matrix forum, Wargamer, and GameRanger. Am i just not looking in the right place, or does no one play CC series anymore?

It shouldn't be hard to find a game with GtC at the moment. It will always be hard to find an opponent to finish a campaign with. Cathartes' screenshot is showing 9 in game, to clarify, they are not necessarily in Gateway to Caen, they are just playing any Steam game (SP or H2H).

The in game lobby isn't the best place to look or advertise for opponents IMHO. Instead look for opponents through Close Combat groups on STEAM ( e.g. Close Combat Fanatics) or through Close Combat forums such as this one on Matrix and Slitherine. Also check out web sites such as CSO Close Combat.org, CloseCombatSeries.net, and Close Combat Fanatics.com.

keep looking in game ranger as well. theres still a group of CC players there that play all the CC games. ill play you some LSA. im in game ranger when i can play. look for RD Steiner.
