I dont really know how to phrase this, so i dont know what topic to look for so ill just have a new one.

When you buy your units for a campaign they're already in plt's or Co's or what ever. Im trying to figure out how to make them, of disolve them or something, if you can. I didnt have enough points for 2 Plts or stuarts, so i bought one, and 2 other units, ive now upgraded the 2 for separate Stuarts but now they are split into

AA0
AA1
AA2

AB0

AC0

I want to group them into 5, if its possible, is it?

You just need to reassign the "extra" units to a new HQ unit. One of the buttons on the right side of the screen will allow this. Select the unit you want to change, select assign unit to a new HQ, and then select the HQ you want it assigned to. It's not that difficult.

Hope this is clear enough.

Is there a way to put them under a new Company leader? EG...

You have Inf. Co. Alpha, which consists of

B0 SNLF HQ (Cpt.)

C0 SNLF HQ (Lt.)
C1-4 SNLF Inf (Sgt.)

D0 SNLF HQ (Lt.)
D1-4 SNLF Inf (Sgt.)

E0 SNLF HQ (Lt.)
E1-4 SNLF Inf (Sgt.)

F0 Type 99 MG (Sgt.)
F1 Type 99 MG (Sgt.)

(Note: pulling this OOB out of my bootyhole.)

Say you also have a Section of unattached Tanks. Is there any way to have them report to B0, in the same way that C0 reports to B0 (eg, for rallying)? Or is New HQ only good for Platoon-level assignments?

Well, the way I understand it, is if you assign those 2 tanks to C0, then they would follow the chain of command up to the top. When you reassign them they become C5 and C6. You could assign them to B0 and they would become B1 and B2 or even to the A0 and they would become A1 and A2. If I choose to provide my A0 with transport, and it is like a core HT, then I always assign that unit to the A0 and it becomes A1.

Click on the HQ button , the tent, after you've changed and it will show you better.

Wouldn't assignment of an armored unit to an infantry leader have some negative consequences? After all, those ratings for Infantry, Armor and Arty on the unit info screen (top right corner) must be there for some reason. So, it only makes sense that if you assign an armored unit to an infantry commander with a low armor command rating you are not helping your armored unit out too much.

Yeah, I almost said that too. That one HT I use for the A0 is not a lot of armor firepower loss so I don't sweat that very much, but it DOES make a difference when you assign an important armored asset to an infantry commander. I normally just use this for combining like class units.
