I know that Racial Pics need to be PNG format, and be of 300x300 size.
Troops at 80x80.
What about the miniaturized pictures for the planetary/colonial icons, and Characters?
I had another question but forgot, maybe about which Pic needs to be used for Racial Selection Screen, and which uses the transparent background.

Hello Rhikore;

Character portraits should be at minimum 200 x 200 pixel size up to 300 x 300. They have to be square.
You have a regular image which uses the transparent background and an alternate image that is used
for the racial selection and diplomacy screens (Example shown below). The miniaturized images you mentioned, like troops on the colony for instance, are handled and scaled by the game itself.
