Hi all,

I question:

I'm joined to both the site and the MB but I can't download the UV V2.0 patch!! I can't do the true update since my IP logs me out every so often BEFORE completion. Therefore, I tried downloading from the downloads page and it says Autentication required. So I type in my username and password and it sayd "530 not logged in". For some reason it blocks me trying to download the patch!!

Any ideas anyone?

Could it be coz i'm trying to use DAP to download in bits?

Speedy..Hang in there...Several of us have posted under several different threads that we are having problems with this one,particular upgrade..While some players have evidently been able to get it,many of us have not,and I suspect this fact has been recognized..The most likely thing (to me),is that the upgrade is not real "tolerant" of the different configurations of our individual cpu's(?)..I also know Matrix goes WAY out of the way to fix problems,(sometimes real AND imagined"..I believe I read on one of the threads another upgrade ver 2.01 is being worked on to address some problems..Perhaps making the upgrade more acessable is one of the "problems"?...... Bob....

One thing that might help, if your using your browser to try and download the patch make sure all other browser windows are closed. The servers have some issues with multiple windows being open at the same time thinking the servers are about to be spammed from the same IP address(they are working to fix this). Disable all download accelerators as these can also cause problems with the servers. I suggest both of you post in the UV forum if you haven't already as it gets frequented more and your sure to get a faster a proper responce from within there.

It seems to up and working again. Here is the direct link UnCommon Valor 2.0 upgrade patch Remember after linking, close all other browser windows and refresh and the download should start (you have to do this that way so the Matrix server don't see you IP address accessing the server twice).

I just tried again and still get the same problem. I have no other windows open at the time either!!

I am having the same problem with the starships unlimited patch. No other browser windows open.

I can't download the Starships Unlimited patch 2.0. When I click on the link, I get an error message about "No anonymous downloads." However, the site shows my user name and my status as "logged in," so I don't understand why I'm anonymous when I'm trying to download.

I'd appreciate any help I can get with this.

Hi, look in the SUDG forum please. I also posted intructions to download it "manually" via an FTp client there.
