"ello everyone. I've just settled down to seriously get up to speed learning Command. Perhaps I have not digested the manual enough so bear with me here. I am playing v. 1.04. Simple commands like forming a group of individual planes after launch escapes me. Pls point me in the right direction for these types of commands.

I have had a crash while playing the Air Ops tut. Background sounds were off but the music was playing. I have Win 7x64 Home Prem and Direct X 11. All functioning normally. Not concerned at this point since still in the learning curve.

Per manual

To group units simply drag-select the units you would like to group
together and press the G key. You will now notice they have merged
into one group symbol, which you can rename to whatever you
would like.


I find launching aircraft as groups a lot easier.

Here is a good site with all the default keyboard shortcuts; learning all these will make the simulation play much smoother and more streamlined.

The menus have been extended a lot, most commands are available from there together with their keyboard shortcut, e.g. group units:
