Greetings!

First, I have to say what a great game this is. It's truly groundbreaking stuff.

I only have one small issue, which is probably user error, since I can't find any other posts about the problem.

Basically, I'm not getting the visual reports which say you took an objective or killed a unit, etc. I've checked everywhere to see if it's an option I've inadvertently turned off. But, to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Page up page down scrolls through them, I believe. At the bottom of the screen, in the bottom bar, there is an option to screen which reports appear. Make sure it doesn't say 'none'. 'Routine' gives you everything, I believe. Regardless of the setting there, iirc, you can see them all in the msg tab of the sidebar screen.

Great you like the game. Best wargame ever made, I feel. Only one with a really decent AI (friendly and enemy.) Enjoy! And let us know how you're getting on. Which scenario have you started with?

I've only played the tutorial scenario a couple of times to learn the system. I realized how amazing it was and promptly bought the two expansions, since they're half price right now.

This is the wargame I dreamed about when I was a kid rolling dice and pushing chits around a map.

The idea of always having a competent opponent available is pretty awesome.

The AI doesn't talk much, and never brings a snack, but she's always willing to play!
