The National Archives in London has a project for tagging the official war diaries of all the units in the Great War. Anyone can take part and it involves doing as much or as little reading of day by day war diaries from units and tagging them with activity, names, places, times. For anyone with some spare time and an interest in seeing such first hand material this might be of great interest.
