I've been beating up some local Slukens with my long term ally. I have invaded a Sluken planet and my ally has apparently jumped in to join the party with a few troops of their own. When the battle was won, my ally got the planet not me. WTF?

Anyway, what are the game rules about this? Why did they get the planet and what could I have done to stop them?

Wow. That is annoying. I have no idea. I wonder if they ended up with more of their troops at the end than you had?

It's likely they invaded the planet before you did. Allied invasions and pirate raids have always been flighty and unreliable, though. Just chalk it up as a diplomatic coup for your ally and roll on.

I recall seeing this as well Gregorovich. I have a similar question ... did you end up with more troops than your ally or less? These days I invade in more strength and don't recall that it has happened since, but that just be luck.

Unfortunately I don't know how many troops were theirs. I was in first but it is possible their group was larger. All my troops seem to disappear afterwards as well, about 800k worth of them.

I think they are gone to your trooptransporters, can you check this?
