Partisan does not block supply path

I like to randomly check how the program traces supply.
Pretty easy to see what the problem is.

Partisan in Changsha.
Yamashita HQ tracing supply through Changsha.

Looks like a supply bug to me.

I opened the savegame to see where Yamashita sits. Remember a railway supply path can use four non-railway hexes in the supply path, including the home country port hex. So that leaves three non-railway hexes, which is enough to draw supply from Yamashita to the railhead and around the partisan in question. So in this case there is no supply bug. Yamashita is in supply, as he should be.

The program shows his supply path going through the city of Changsha.

You fail at reading.

More proof for those who doubt.

The player can envision any kind of supply path for the counters in play.

By using F8 the player can see the exact route the program is using for any supply source.
I expect the path chosen to adhere to the rules.

You may have redundancy built into your supply net. You may only have 1 path.
Either way the Program has to follow the rules of the game and trace a supply path it will use.
Not the one you hope it uses.

If a partisan is placed to block supply. I expect the path to avoid the hex.
Not go through it.

Checking the paths MWiF takes for supply, resources, build points is something I do to educate myself.
This offering of a bug is to make the game better.

I want the path to be true. Otherwise how am I going to trust Skynet.

It is a bug, but could be a bug in the F8 form.. Needs to be examined either way, as we need to trust the F8 form as well....

Considering I have been searching for supply bugs since the last patch. This speaks well overall.

Good Job to Steve and Beta testers closed and public.

I would consider that a feature, not a bug [:D]

Thanks.

The F8 button brings up the Supply Sources and Paths form, which I originally created so I could check if supply is working correctly. So, if you see a bad path in the SSP form, then the program is doing something wrong.

I should be able to fix this easily enough and have it for the Public Beta (this week unless bad things happen).
