I would really like to buy this game, if it were fixed. Oil and aircraft ratings are really messed up, according to old posts. And pilot pools might be, too. A patch was supposed to fix some things, but was never finished. What a shame. And a bargain on a broken game is no bargain at all.
I check every few weeks for news, but no joy yet.

Is it a "database issue",
something in a script that could be modified,
or in the .exe code -- (no hope of changing that)?

The game has pretty much been abandoned by its makers. So what you see is what you get. There is a DB editor that you can download and tweak aircraft performance and a couple of other things, but that is as far as it goes. But for now and I am sure for a long time to come. This is going to be the only WWII strategic bombing game. So enjoy it for what it is.

Yep. A bunch of broken promises and lame excuses spanning over several years.

"We have families", "Please give us a break", "We only work on this part time because we have other jobs", "But you can be assured that we are still working on the next patch and it will be released."

Blah blah blah.

And then it finally became crystal clear the game was abandoned when the devs stopped replying, and soon after this sub-forum died. *crickets*

They basically took the money and ran. Matrix Games and the developers should be ashamed. [:@]

Not to mention the devs killing off all user modding attempts (trying to fix what they wouldn't). [8|]

i too would like to see this one fixed - it would be great for Grigsby to just make these corrections - would this be difficult? why continuie selling it if it is discontinued re its support? t

It's a flawed masterpiece. For some of us the flaws are deeper than others.
