Air to Air Engagement under strict ROE

Hi All,
I am new to this forum, would appreciate your kind guidance on this extraordinary game ! [:)]
Since beginning I use CMANO to create what if scenarios especially air to air encounters. My question is, can we replicate a situation whereby we want to force-land/down or escort out an intruding aircraft who violate our airspace / exclusion zone?
Thanks.

The unfriendly posture causes you're units to take on the behaviors of a hostile intercept but they don't actually shoot. This doesn't make the intruding aircraft go away though.

Thanks for your quick reply. So it is not possible to do this time, just wish it would be an added feature in the next patches

What is the eventual outcome of engagement with unfriendlies then, assuming we won''t shoot at all?

They are intercepted and tracked until the unit shoots or an rtb is called. What important to the side using it is that the unit is tracked with eyes on.
You can enhance this a little more. Try using a patrol mission with a prosecution area that prevents your aircraft from trailing them too far etc.

I recall playing an air combat pc sim "Falcon 3.0" in its add on theater "Operations: Fighting Tiger". During certain stages of the campaign, the belligerents are not allowed to shoot first otherwise risking court-martialed and escalation of conflict.
The air to air combat at that stage usually starts from detection, approach, radar lock "threat" until dogfighting with all missile lock alarm ringing ! Eventually one side would lose their nerves, jettison their combat load and bug out from the area. It was not possible too at that time, to force down or escort out the intruders (though we can do the latter just for fun after they chose to leave...).
I am sure it CMANO can be developed further to simulate the above. Same logic may be applied to naval encounters with unfriendlies I think

Ok Mikmyk will try that advice.
So will the unfriendly opponent do the rtb by itself? (Other than low fuel..)

...or alternately, the opponent's nerves can snap and choose to fire upon us instead of bugging out, thus making everybody turn into hostile. Right now, we can only cause unfriendly into hostile if WE are the ones who fire first.
Would be wonderful.
