Sturmtigers and Smoke

Howdy folks!
I have a couple of questions.
The first in with regard to Sturmtigers. I was pleased to see that they were in SPW@W. Even though I rarely play the Germans it's nice to see some of the more uncommon (and, lets face it, neat) vehicles included. My question is about its rate of fire. I don't know much about the Sturmtiger but I did find an informative site about it. The web site is http://members.aol.com/sturmpnzr/sturmi.html
At this web site it says that even with a trained and skilled crew it could take ten minutes to reload. I notice that in SPW@W the Sturmtiger has a rate of fire of two. Shouldn't this be lower?
The other question is in reference to smoke. Specifically smoke grenades carried by infantry. Again I don't know much about the topic (which is why I'm asking the question :-) ) but it seems that smoke grenades are to prevelant. It seems like every single unit has them. Including the one lucky survivor of a a brewed up tank. Did he really pause n his way out of the tank to take a few smoke grenades with him? My only, well I hesitate to call it knowledge, ummm information (that's better) I have is from the Combat mission forum when they were asked if infantry smoke would be included. The result there was that hard info regarding the use of smoke was difficult to come by and therefor they would not be modeled. It seems that there was more evidence that they were used for marking than for masking movement. Of course that is third ( or would it be fourth?) hand information so I was curious why the decision was made to make smoke grenades so ubiquitous.
Any pointers to more information about these subjects (preferably web sites, I tend to be lazy) would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Cardinal Fang

Cardinal Fang, Let me guess...

Your chief weapons are fear, surprise and an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope.

Yeah it seems most troops have them, but not many. I keep running out of the damn things! I try not to use them unless they're absolutely necessary, but they are.

And the effects don't last long anymore, they dissipate very quickly.

I must admit that my response to the smoke issue is from a limited amount of playing time so perhaps it's less of an issue than I'm making it out to be. It does seem like the poor fleeing Vichy French that I'm up against in my campaign game seem to have an abundance of them and it does seem odd to be that the remnant of a squad or vehicle crew can fling enough smoke to obscure a 50 meter hex but I am far from an expert and I can certainly live with it. Although I reserve the right to whine and moan to my PBEM and online opponents! (I'm a youngest child, whining just comes natural to me! Image )

I am still curious about he Sturmtigers rate of fire though. Nobody has more info on it?

Hi..
It is repoted that in the first operational use of the Sturmtiger, that was in Warsaw against the Polish Home Army´s uprising - 12th-16th August 44´-, the prototype should have fired 9 shots on one hour..!
