I just watched a bit of the live stream by historicgamer and turn resolution times looked painfully slow. Like Pride of Nations slow. If true, that makes this a pass for me.

Not nearly as slow as PON.
1st turn res. for my old 2,4 Ghz Dual Core machine, 2 GB RAM: 2 min.

Definitely not as slow as people say PON had. Maybe I just wasn't entertaining enough! Looking back at my recording the times were about 1.5 to 2.5 minutes. Maybe not ideal but it certainly could be worse and I've played many wargames which were worse. Also consider the live stream covered some of the initial turns, maybe it speeds up as the game goes on? I can't claim it does as I've only played into early November but as armies start digging in it could make sense for a bit quicker processing time as fewer armies are active at one time. I guess we'll see though.

I have an I7 and it is certainly the only negative I see so far. I do have the extra time option for the AI on. That being said, it is as long as my PON turns. I have a few monitors to keep me busy other wise it would be slightly annoying. Of course the best solution is to play humans
