Glad to know you're interested, zakblood. :) When we're ready for external testers, there will be a public announcement.

I am very willing and very ready to give tBF a thorough beta shakedown if needed! I own and still play all CC releases (play almost all of them) and have extensive beta testing experience. Since this is a big leap which tries to take all best elements with it I am very much looking forward to being able to chip in :)

As someone who's only recently picked up G2C, hearing about this (potentially the fix to everything I didn't like: buildings, 2D limitations, hopefully sounds?) has got me mad excited. If and when there's a beta I would be extremely keen to participate.

Is there any indication what quarters either the game or beta might be release as yet?

The 1st Division (The Bloody First, The Big Red One) will be shipping out to Camp Blanding in Florida and arrive by the 21st of February to get refurbished with new equipment and be re-designated The First Infantry Division by 15 May 1942. Perhaps if production goes well, this Close Combat game (The Bloody First) will be released in May in honor of the units' new designation.

STEVE!! So exited to finally hear about the release date. I thank you on behalf of all the hardcore CC players like myself. A Bridge Too Far was the first PC game I played as a child. The amount of hours of CC I have played in my life is staggering, possibly more than all other games combined. I TOO WOULD BE HONORED to participate in the beta. I promise you any and all feedback I can possibly give. Thanks again for all the hard work, pass that along to the rest of the crew please. I TRULY CAN NOT WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON THE BLOODY FIRST!!!!

I appreciate your interest, DRD0416. We will be announcing testing when it gets closer to the date -- probably towards the end of this year.
