I'm playing the Skirmish battles using the option to purchase 'All' for the forces and Random army lists.

But the choices I get are very odd. For example, In a Small/Small battle I generated (June 43 I cannot buy ANY regular infantry?
I can buy 2 Waffen SS, some Flamethrowers and MGs and SEVEN(!) Snipers?

How is that force composition? I have almost 1000 points to spend but I can't put together any resembling an infantry formation at all.

Is there some (simple) way to edit the army lists or get more relaxed pick restrictions? I appreciate that it can be fun to not always be able to cherry-pick what you want but not even having enough basic infantry kind of force the game into a tank-orgy that I don't really have a lot of interest in.

If you are using army lists there will be realistic force composition. If not you'll have a random selection with different types of units being more common and in greater numbers.

The army lists are just set in a text file so very easily modable.
