Can you mix different OpArt exe's?

I've just started a game of FITE - my opponent wasn't using OpArt 3XBb as the Axis for the first turn - I did my turn using that exe, and he's got a message "this version of TOAW cant load" when trying to load my save.

I sent him 3XBb but he's still getting the message.

Is there a compatibility issue between the versions??

Kamerad Kiwi,

nope, ain't possible to use different versions. And in case you modify/design scenarios, do it with the official 3.4 patch. Scenarios modified/designed with the 3XBb.exe are not backward compatible.

I don't know. Opart3 XBb should be able to open any standard 3.4 save file. Maybe your opponent has started TOAW3 using a shortcut linking to the standard 3.4 exe. He maybe should start the XBb.exe directly from the TOAW 3 folder and see if he still gets that message. There can as many toaw.exes as one desires happily exist next to each other in the TOAW directory:
