For you who hasn't read the Opponents wanted thread, here's a re-cap: Me and Don Doom are honing our H2H skills in preparation for us both taking on Jess in Stalingrad.

So here's our setting; Britain vs. Czechs, -44. D gets to pick armor from the German OOB. 5000p, medium map.

Britain's first turn is over. Doom opened up with a massive shelling of a bridge leading over a wide river in the norheast, with lots of dead fish as a result. British artillety CB'd and then promptly swithed their radios off. The troops got moving, no contact with enemy yet. Two per-turn VH's are secured.

See i M4 wantabe sturt up north, Not much else.

We spot some approaching commandos but do nothing for the time being. Czech mortars are coming alive and pound me in the north, causing no damage except to underwear. :p We control 9 of 13 hexes in the center.

Hey Doom, what about reinforcements? OK to you?

Not much yet, recon has uncovered some more M4 whatabe's. No infantry yet!

Stukas appear in the sky, making a huge hole in a Stuart, and leaving the troops around just staring at the crater... they won't move.

No successes so far, preparing for the next phase.

Just a couple of m3 sturet[m4 wantabees], one sniper and a crewmen.

Heheh yea I know. They suck :p But since I'm brit, it's the toughest thing I can field....I want my panzers.

My Cech friends are getting antsy. They want to fight some more!:D

Boy is my face red. In the excitement of losing the M4, I totally missed that you post the turn *before* that.

I'm in so much trouble. :p Stuarts [M4 wannabes] crewed by Brits are not easy to commandeer around. All they want is to get home in time for afternoon tea.

I take the opportunity to seize the center VH's, but I'm prolly gonna regret that in the next turn. War's hell.

Biggest trophy this turn was a Czech FO in progress of stealing corn from a nearby farm. *BANG*

Should have known better than to pick the British Infantry. I've never done well with them

On the upside, we kill off most of a 5cm AT and put the scare on a StuH by landing a few 155s on him.

At all other places, the King's Men are more looking like a herd of deaf and dumb sheep than fighting infantry.

oops.. here it is.

Took back some of the center vhexes, killed off some snipers and at teams, chased some squads back into the tree line, lossed an pzkIV g to a ronson V! Next:D
