I am trying to update the game from first version to current I click the check updates it starts running then says error FTP file

part two. Don't know if this is the place to post this.
But my computer crashed and bought a new computer window 8. I am reinstalling matrix games and when I click on check updates it starts running the says error unable to download FTP file( something like that)
this has happened on command and also distant world universe.
Pleas help

Dave, try this later Updater Fix or use this direct FTP link and install patch manually.
