Operation Sea Lion ?

Hi All,
I just started playing and completed the Fall Weiss scenario.
It was a lot of fun so now I am looking for a bigger conquest.
Normally I am not a big fan of the Western Front and am inclined just to jump to Barbarossa - but I always am looking for a game that might handle Operation Sea Lion well.
So - has anyone attempted it? If so, how was it? (Difficulty / enjoyment)
Thanks,
Don

Easy to do SeaLion agains the AI, not at all easy against a human opponent. Air power is the key. The AI simply isn't up to the task in fighting for control of the Channel/North Sea.
Do a Sealion invasion against the AI simply to gain an understanding of the mechanics of landings and paradrops. Then try to find a human opponent.
The biggest constraint either way will be PPs. It takes a lot to build the amphibious craft and to maintain fighter dominance over the Channel.

If you change the options on viewing this forum, and look back two or three years, I have several AARs on Barbarossa that you might find useful. Make sure you are patched up.

Thanks for the info on Sea Lion GW.
I will definitely look for your AARs and have a read.
I was considering playing WiTE but after reading some other AARs on that - decided that I don't have enough real life time to enter Grigsby's USSR.
So - I am hopeful that TOF will provide an opportunity for some old-time mass encirclement tactics like in the old SPI games - but without the life draining time commitment. (map is certainly large enough)
I'm going to play around a bit more and then perhaps return for some PBEM games.
