Which files are necessary to mod research?

Which files are necessary to mod research? I want to integrate the research tree of mod Starfall into the Beyond mod, because Lurchi's Research mod takes me to long to wait. I know the research.txt but which other files to hav a 100% funtional game or is this impossible by only overwrite files?
