Stop the engines!

I am about to start a one month PBEM game of BoB 1940. I will be the LW, so I thought I might try a little BTR strategy to see how it works out. Mind you this will not be my main strategy. I need to run some diversionary raids to keep the RAF player busy and away from the 11 Group area. That is where I plan to just wage a war of attrition.

So here is the diversionary plan, it involves taking out engine factories:

Option 1: Stops engine production for Hurricane I, Spitfire IA&IB, and the Defiant I&IA
Alvis Aero
Bristol Kingswood
RR Crewe
RR Derby

Option 2: Stops engine production for Spitfire IIA
RR Derby
RR Hillington

Option 3: Stops engine production for Hurricane II
RR Hillington

Option 4: Stops engine production for the Beaufighter and Blenheim
Alvis Aero
Austin
Bristol Kingswood

So the question is by concentrating on factories that cater to specific aircraft will I be able to halt production of said aircraft or am I going to have to take down the whole industry? At this point in time I do not know if I can pull any of it off, considering the LW's aircraft horrible lack of range. So any thoughts, ideas or input will be appreciated.

I will post my AAR's once we get going.

Why should the BTR concept tried here? I won PBEM BoB many times (best in less than 1 month - I think) based on: destroying airplanes on airfields and in flight/when landing + radars, then just score points knocking all industry and cities...

I think that there s no time to stop the engines production in one month. The important detail here is the replacement rate of RAF aircrafts (it s in the manual), and maybe the engine stockpile. My guess is that it s a short period of time to se results in that direction but Im curious about those AAR´s, maybe I m wrong.
