Hi all, new player here.

I'm trying to figure out which file controls the typical starting system names for a given race, and how to change it. Specifically, when playing as humans 80% of the time it seems to name my system Sol. I don't like this because the system has nothing in common with the real-life Sol - it kinda makes the immersion and "suspension of disbelief" take a hit. I'd rather just some random title.

I realize you can open up the game editor and change the star and each planet's names individually, but this is a hassle each & every time - is there a way to just set it so Sol is not a starting system name for humans across the board? I've skimmed through most of the modding files and just can't locate where this info would be.

Go to your human.txt in races folder of your mod.
Search for "KnownStartingGalacticHistoryLocations".

Set it to 0
