This is good, if true.
One step closer to cancel project " DDG "Leader" variant 4 " for Russian Navy

triode what will be leader class destroyer armamente and displacement?

Well, under project "Leader" there is four variant of ship

Variant 1 (aka "Our Berk", aka "Destroer for Ministry of Finance")

7500/9000 tons, ~ 160 m length, CODAG,> 30 knots

Artillery: 1x1x130,

Air Defense : 2xCIWS(Naval Pantsir), 64xRedut cells

Missiles: 32xUKSK cells

2x4 Paket-NK torpedo tubes

hangar for 2 helicopters

Navy dont like this variant for some reasons

Variant 2 (aka "better than Tika",aka "minimum of we can agree")

9500/11500 tons ~ 190 meters in length, CODAG, ~ 30 knots

Artillery: 1x1x130

Air Defense: 4xCIWS(Naval Pantsir), 80xRedut cells

Missiles: 48xUKSK cells

2x4Paket-NK torpedo tubes

hangar for 2 helicopters

this is minimal configuration Russian Navy can agree to choose

Variant 3 (aka "What we want",aka "Worthy successor for 1144")

12500/14700 tons, about 200 meters long, CODAG or nuclear power unit, ~ 30 knots

artillery 2x2x152 or 2x1x130 or 1x1x130

Air Defense: 4xCIWS(Naval Pantsir), 80xRedut cells

Missiles: 64xUKSK cells

2x4 Paket-NK

hangar for 2 helicopters

This is what Russian navy want when talk about "Nuclear DDG"

Variant 4 (aka "successor of 1155")

13000/15200 tons ~ 210 meters in length, CODAG , ~ 30 knots

artillery 1x2x152 or 1x1x130

Air Defense: 4xCIWS(Naval Pantsir),48xRedut cells

Missiles 16xUKSK cells

2x4 Paket-NK

hangar for 5 helicopters

something similar to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shirane-class_destroyer but bigger
this ship is forced by former captains of Project 1155. The basic idea:
take off from an aircraft carrier as much helicopters as possible to take more planes, transfer ASW duties to such ships as variant 4

On variants 1,2,3 "Poliment" (in variant 3K96-1, the difference from 3K96-2 is ability to fire "big"
SAM from UKSK, Navy want 40N6 from UKSK but NPO "Almaz-Antey" has enough hemorrhoids with the integration of the missile in the S-400 , and they do not want to double their problems. On the other hand OKB "Novator" vows to "as soon as possible to integrate 9M83M into UKSK".)

on variant 4 it is "Poliment" in variant 3K96-2

My reasons to not like variant 4 is simple, places on Russian shipyards are limited
so +1"variant 4" = -1 "variants 1,2 or 3" and I think Russian Navy need moar UKSK

Keep in mind that all this variants from early 2013 and can be changes
