Naval Combat Loop

global war, solitaire, turn 5, allied naval combat, v.1.2.1.5:
experienced some kind of strange loop during the naval phase:
after fighting a naval combat in the faroers gap beetween cw and germany and an ensuing digression combat in the north sea i started a combat between cw and italy in the eastern med. after the initating roll (a 1 for italy, which was to roll first as far as i remember) there was no further roll but the naval combat overview form opended and showed the italian ships on both sides, the phasing as well as the nonphasing side. clicking on the ok button the form for deciding whether to fight on or abort appeared, again only for italy and from that on i was in an endless loop in this form. hitting the ok button closed an opened it anew. i was not able to save the game at this point only to exit. i forgot to make a screen shot though. i describe this from memory, so maybe some deviation to the order of appearance of forms is possible.
is this an already known bug? (crossing fingers that that might be so)
