Since upgrading to Beta, constant CTD's as soon as a.i. begins to animate moves.
I think this my be a C++ issue, any thoughts, or others experiencing this?

Glad we've established what a CTD is.

anybody else been getting 'em.
or better yet...some good links to C++ downloads, the microsoft site is not particularly helpful.
Questions: are the C++ patches cumulative?
Do I need to keep the 2010 patch when there is a 2013 version on the system? or does old software still access old code?
Thanks

You played WWII:RtV, ToF and ToW.
Surely you know by know what a CTD is, mate!!! [8|] There was a festival of 'em.
Loved your graphics mods on those.

No I didn't know what a CTD was - if I did I wouldn't have asked [8|]
Now I know I can answer the question. Yes I cannot get the game to run under the new patch - after a couple of moves it crashes. I've uninstalled the game and will try reinstalling when I have time. Disappointing to say the least.

Just reinstalled the game and downloaded the patch. Exactly the same problem encountered in exactly the same place. Basically after a couple of Austrian units move, the game crashes to desk top.
Any ideas anyone please?

Well it is completely unplayable for me - the game crashes after just two or three moves. Can someone on the Tech Support Team please respond?

I don't know where the tech support has got to either,I have sent minor modification data files to the software wiz kid,in response to forum feedback of the beta patch, also without reply,so I'm in the same boat as you drifting hopelessly in Mid Atlantic without a paddle,Lord Zimoa (Tim) SOS..

I can confirm a CTD for me as well, about a turn after England joins the fun.
No real specifics to give. Get a popup saying "Cmdr - TGW has stopped..."

When I google "Exception code: 0xe06d7363", it sounds like an uncaught C++ exception is happening. So this is a generic exception code.

true, but as the KERNELBASE.dll is the one at fault, that may give the developer more of an insight so the log is more useful, same as any saves the can recreate the problem, as if it can be replicated, it can be fixed...
has it also shown up in event viewer?

all updates are needed, never uninstall older versions, leave them on the system, as each game / program uses a different version, so all are needed, and tbh it's always best to be up to date with everything, dotnet, directX version and anything else games load and use
as you can clearly see, i use a 64bit o/s but also need the 32bit files, as some apps and games / programs use 32bit ones and won't access the 64bit ones...

The top portion of my post was from the Error section, and the second portion was from the Information section.

Hey guys, sorry for not responding, I am sick and it is bit crazy here with other titles.
First things first: please attach your game ctgw.log files (usually in "Documents\My Games\Commander The Great War")
Please attach savegames that allow for CTD reproduction

zip file uploaded. I didn't really have a save file. Just played a few turns quickly, and moved a few units now and then each turn.
