I heard that Paul McCartney was in another band before Wings - some nobodies who made him accept a manager he didn't like.
Is this true? Who were those losers, anyway?

Nothing official that I'm aware of. Before Wings it just Paul playing everything and Linda doing some harmonies with Paul.

A lot of people get confused on the timing of his forming The Bay City Rollers after being rejected by KC & The Sunshine Band. These things happened in the 70's while on a hiatus from Wings, not before Wings as many believe.

Thanks for the great link. Brings back memories. I was lucky enough to see the Wings over America tour in 1976 at Olympia in Detroit.

Jim, must have been good! I've never seen Paul or Wings in concert, I saw (could not hear much [:(][8D]) the Beatles in concert at Dodger Stadium in 1966...memorable! [:)]
