Tell us about your epic campaigns

Just wanted to see what experience other have had with epic campaigns?
I've completed two now, both with the white faction (I just can't seem to get very far with some of the others). The first campaign lasted (I think) about 140 races, the second lasted a whopping 263 races--mainly because in the first one I never lost my lead auriga, while in the second one I lost three lead aurigas before winning.
What factions do you like? What region/city do you like to start in? What was your shortest/longest epic campaign?
