Just double wanted to check if this things are in the game:
Is D-DAy included and if so are all 3 beaches in the scenario. Wanted to make sure Canadian Troops and the Juno Beach debarcation were not ignored again.
In the Netherlands scenarios, once more are Canadian troops included in the scenarios as Canucks were a huge factor in Liberating the Benelux countries.
Not meaning to nitpick but we (Canucks) are ignored or forgotten in many WW2 games. I will purchase the game regardless as I loved War in the East and it's expansions..
Lastly, will this or the East game ever be available on Steam.
Now to find my Credit Card and use it before my wife starts maximizing my CC???? LOL!

The Canadians are included in separate glory - in fact where they have the same equipment as the British the photo has no flag and doesn't use one plastered with the Union Flag.
RCAF Squadrons are marked as RCAF so you can distinguish them and there is a separate Canadian manpower pool although kit is Commonwealth.
Juno is a separate beach.

You have no idea how happy this makes me! I can give a blind eye to them being "camouflaged" under British/Commonwealth banners for some scenarios but not all.
And for those who may think I am being a nitpicker, please bear in mind that playing Canadian Troops gives me that "want to protect them and try to make them so much more successful", so I pay particular attention to them which adds that much more pleasure and enjoyment to my game play-through. Brits and Yanks are ALWAYS included (and for obvious reasons) may not understand why this little something is important to me.
Again, thanks for including them Now I can play some scenarios where I can imagine that my Grandfather and Great Uncle are amongst the icons.
Very much appreciated.

well with the editor if it makes you feel any better you can or could always attach them the US side if under the UK is not to your liking [;)]
or just leave them as an independent unit attached to neither[;)][:D]

zakblood - you can also just change the attachment in the game itself. There are no nationality limitations in corps commands.

I'm Canadian and am glad to report that not only is Juno there but also the 1st Canadian Infantry Division in all its glory is invading Sicily!

I was born in Canada, and my 1st Canadian division was the hero of my just-completed assault on Sicily.

So yep, the Canadians are represented in full glory here.

You guys are awesome with the feedback. Just curious though, what the heck is that flag that is pictured with that sewed maple leaf with the blue background and red and white stripes into it? I have never seen it before? Please enlighten me. We did have a flag back during WW2 and of course it had the Union Jack logo upper left but the Maple Leaf only appeared in 1967. There were insignias with the maple leaf back then though.

These pictures are supposed to be unit insignia, not country flags. Even Wiki has this image:

Minor(?) Gripe:
Interesting that the Canucks amongst us do not seem to have an issue with this but I do (sorry).
Canadian units are shortened to CA. Why? I have never seen that ever and it just does not look right. Surely CDN or Can but not CA.
Can this be amended - or am I just being picky?
