Was trying to update to 2.07 but the updater keeps crashing.

Runtime Error Update.exe

Was on v2.02 before trying to update. Just bought the game and it updated to 2.02 ok.

I've had hit or miss success with the updater on various game. You can try to see if your AV program is blocking it. You can try to run it from the folder as Admin and see if that helps. After that jump over to the main Matrix Tech Support forum and ask there. Unfortunately this happens to a number of people.

Im not too worried about it. The game runs fine. I can just update it manually if I cant sort it out or use my Steam version.

Is there any reason to think the Steam version wont get updates as fast as the stand alone?

They should get updates at the same time, but both groups have there own delays and such for other game updates.
