Air QUestion - Auto or Manual Upgrade?

What would be the pros and cons of each?

As always auto is easy to manage, but manual is more flexible. Since upgrade doesn't check for the priority setting, it is better to have it on manual if you have low pools.

What I will normally do is leave most of my air groups on auto. The ones that I don't have on auto are usually my long range escorts for daylight bombing from 8th and 15th Air Forces. This way when the newer, longer ranged fighters become available I upgrade them and leave them manual so the AI doesn't change them back.
