I cannot get my game to download from the disc. I just got the game today, it is brand new. It will not start an auto download nor will it download using setup.exe command. The disc will show three folders but no options for a download. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am trying to download on an Dell Inspiron laptop with windows vista operating system.

sounds like a disk error, have you any other pc in the house so you can copy the files onto a memory stick?

the drive in your laptop seems to not be able to read the disk isn't a problem as you have bought the disk version, you can download the game from the only store here for free as well, you just need to register you game then you will have a download link, so no disk is then needed, good luck

I have registered my game on here, I am new to the forum and am a little lost on here...lol

top right of this page look for and click members tab. Once there look on the right column for MY GAMES and then my orders from there you should be able to download your game that you registered

I have tried to download it on my desktop and get the same response. I tried to do as you said and download online but it tells me there are no downloads available for my game. It shows 2 files on the disc but when I open them it only says {autorun} open=battleground civil war-SetupRelease-DRv101.exe

I think I may have finally figured it out. It is downloading or appears to be on my desktop now.

Still cannot get it to go on the laptop.

if the laptop doesn't meet the minium spec it wont work, you also need to load all the rest of the files that come with the game and not just the game, dx9, dotnet and anything else thats needed, have up to date drivers for everything hardware wise on the laptop and have the space and power and permission to even run it, so an admin account

games works fine, it's either user error or hardware tbh, could be missing o/s files or extra software needed with the install, that's not already on the laptop, or plain old AV trouble again
