Will do! Got ticket for the best theatre in town for Dec. 29.
Best of all - Sweden's no. 1 national TV network starts airing Band of Brothers tonight. (not that I haven't seen it, but still)

Just curious Bel, what do the Swedish TV censors(are there any?) do with any objectionable little words, etc? Do you suffer from moral override as we have to?
Got my tickets too

In one word - Nope.
For news shows, live shows and stuff, I guess most network companies has some sort of Codex; what words to avoid and stuff, but there are no blanking-out words or anything.

Oh well, we'll just have to suffer.
Luckier you.

I sent them an email.
How about we JRR Tolkien fans sue them for stealing the name of of an established literary work.
I sympathise with all that lost someone on that horrible day. But I am certainly not going to indulge revisionist hysteria.

They obviously have nothing else to do with their time, do they? Think of it as a memorial, if you will, where good triumphs over evil, in the end.

My hometown's theatre is so small and queues so long, that I must wait about week until I see it.

Les,Are you hitting your CL fund to go to the movies?

Nope, no CL funds were hurt during going to the movies heheh.
Actually, as it goes, I am currently wielding the power of a March birthday and tag teaming with Fathers day to get it in all likelihood.
I quite frankly don't expect anything currently to show up on the horizon for gift options eh.
All I currently want for Christmas that is actually do able, is a couple of books (latest in Dune series, and latest in Shanara series to be exact). That and well I hope a certain woodworking manual is doable, but it might have to wait.
I would order CL now if it was on sale. But it ain't.
There are likely other things out there that could be bought, but none that I can't live without.

I'd like to recommend a book called "unrestricted warfare"-china's master plan to destroy america.
sheds alot of light on the 9-11 happening.
In fact,I believe that WW3 will be US,allies vs China, allies.
According to the bible like 3rd of humanity will perish in the vast war of wars.I'd like to think we can avoid it but with the US's gun ho attitute to start wars I'm not so sure.

I'm not so sure Mac
A. China is the next big thing for commercialist expansion. Billions of potential customers (regardless of the concept of government).
and
B. I don't subscribe to WW3 notions much anymore. Not after reading The Coming Global Superstorm.
If anything, 3/4 of humanity will die under a sheet of going no where soon permanent ice.
Of course the droughts that will precede it will sure cause a great deal of stress and strain on the fabric of life, but as we will all be suffering equally, I doubt it will just be the US vs China.
The bible story though, is about as much worth as anything else in the bible, not much.

Wow! There are still continuing sequels in Dune and Shanara? I'm non-plussed. I thought I read most of those ~20 years ago.
As far as the Impending Doom to Humanity, don't worry. No one will miss out on it.
(if you have your eyes and mind open, and you know what you're looking at, you can see some of it already.)

I like it.
A lawyer-letter would probably do, however. For one, "The Two Towers" was named decades before the 11 Sept.
2001 tragedy. At
least 50 years before.
Les, we will take all opportunities provided to proceed to the op-zone this week.

Let's see there is of course Dune, then the following
Dune Messiah
Children of Dune
God Emporer of Dune
Heretics of Dune or was it Dune Heretic?
Chapterhouse Dune
Then
Dune House Atreides
Dune House Harkonnen
Dune House Corino
waiting to get
Butlerian Jihad now
With Shanara
hmmm
Sword of Shanara
Elfstones of Shanara
Wishsong of Shanara
The scions of Shanara
The Druid of Shanara
The Elf Queen of Shanara
Tha Talismans of Shanara
First King of Shanara
The Isle Witch
Antrax
and I am waiting on
Morgawr
its cool, because if you like a writer generally you will soak up all they write. And Terry Brooks just keeps writing books I love.
The books starting with Dune Atreides though are by Franks son and Poul Anderson. And have not lost the fire.
