interesting link - uncommanded ejections happen more often then published in media:

and Su-30 has no auto eject feature like the Yak-38

There was a similar incident with the JAS-39 Gripen some years back. The pilot was manoeuvring during an exercise, and then all of a sudden he found himself hanging in a parachute out in the cold open air. Must have been quite a surprise. I think they concluded that he had to thick thighs and that they somehow during the flight interacted with the ejection levers during high G:s. They subsequently fixed the setup to get rid of that problem.
