I've been playing the former Talonsoft, Now JTCS, game since it was released but I have a question. I just downloaded the new patch (2.02 I think) and it runs fine except that I can't find a way to hide the dropdown menu bar with the "AI, Options, Display,...etc" information. Actually, above that, is the name of the scenario on a separate bar, in this case the first KG Peiper LCG scenario known as "Losheim" has this word displayed on the bar above the menu bar. Overall, it's quite annoying to have two bars let alone one bar in full view while playing the game.

I checked on the PDF manual but can't find the instruction how to hide the drop down menu and also the "Losheim" bar above it.

I was hoping someone would be able to provide some assistance or insight about this situation. Thank you.

We have changed it from before. Both the Title bar and Menu bar are permanent, no toggling them off. Nothing you can do. Sorry.

Thanks for responding to my question. Perhaps in a future patch this issue may be resolved. I'm sure most players of the game would prefer that these two bars not be displayed if at all possible since it detracts from the overall gaming experience. In the old Talonsoft version, simply hitting the "M" key would make it disappear or reappear.

Now, hitting the 'm' key toggles the highlighting of moved units. Not likely ever to change.

I just wanted to thank all of you on the development team who have breathed new life into this old warhorse of a game. Back in 1998, I thought it was revolutionary and was blown away by its incredible attention to detail. Special thanks to all of you, especially the incredible Jason Petho who has been such a stalwart for so many years. Merry Christmas too!!
