Hello,

I just updated to version 2.08 with the Steam version of the game and I am now receiving the following error when trying to log into PBEM++.

Can you help me?

For the interested I found a solution to my problem. If you are suffering the same issue try the following:

1) From the PBEM++ Multiplayer Control window select Create or Update Slitherine PBEM++ Account option. Do not enter any information in the window that appears. Click the cancel button.
2) Select Log In to Slitherine PBEM++ and enter your log in credentials.

This is working in my particular instance.

This seems to be working for me, as well. Odd workaround, but it's an odd bug...

We will note that this seems to "fix" the issue and it may help us understand what is going off the rails.

Gentlemen - Does deadsunwheel's workaround just need to be used the once, or does it have to be used repeatedly? If the former case then I think the problem was a once-only 2.07 to 2.08 transition problem. If the latter then I need to keep looking deeper.

Hello Robert,

I just attempted to log in to PBEM+ and as of this morning, January 24th 2015, the work around is still required for me to connect to the system. Is there anything else I can do to help?
