vampire attack?

Benn playing the central forces with the new beta. I'm noticing that a Corps with 2 supply units will be sucked dry in one battle, its blue bar is zero, it strength goes from 100+ to 5 and it still has 2 full supply units. It seems that this is happening in many battle, the allies don't seem to be affected in that way.
