[NO FIX] Buttons on right side of map disappear when hover over

I have the issue on a fresh new install where I start the game, play the tutorial and say click on an airfield.
Then on the right side I go to click on Aircraft or Weapons and the button is a solid blue block with no text on it
I am running in windowed mode, windows 8.1 64 bit
Have java and flash all installed to latest and using an Nvidia GeForce 790 video card with latest certified drivers

This problem can appear if your desktop font size is over 125%, for example 150%. Can you set your desktop font size to 125% or 100% and try it again?

I have it set to smaller at the moment still doing it. Now when I had it loaded before it didnt do that but i recently reloaded Windows 8.1. Standard install stuff, newest GeForce Drivers. I had issues with my sound codecs getting War in the West to run. Now that works but Command is doing this weird graphical thing. Anything you know that might be related to Anti Aliasing or anything?

What is it set at? When you restart command does it appear the same way?

I use the nvidia control panel to set all the AA and Anisotripic stuff to off. (FXAA also)

Reset the values in invidia and change the windows settings.

no dice man. I will just call it a wash for now and lick my wounds. Ill wait for a future patch or something
